Cora Tellez

Board Chair & Founder

Cora M. Tellez is the Board Chair and Founder of Sterling Administration, launched in 2004 to deliver expert healthcare finance and management services. With 25+ years of executive leadership, she previously held top roles at Health Net, Prudential, Blue Shield of California, and Kaiser Permanente Hawaii.

In 2015, she founded Amazing Care Network (ACN) to support aging with dignity—offering long-term care savings tools, social networks, and physician guidance. She also created the Amazing Care Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit that helps fund caregiving and access to services.

Cora holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from CSU and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mills College. She chairs the Hawaii Community Health Alliance, and served on the boards of HMS Holdings, Pacific Premier Bank, CorMedix, First Consulting, Bank of Hawaii, Glendale Fed, and Cal Fed and Pacific Premier Bank.  She is an active supporter of several nonprofit organizations and funds scholarships for students who are typically the first in their families to go to college.

A respected leader in both business and philanthropy, she’s been honored by Women Healthcare Executives, the Asian Pacific Fund, and the Anti-Defamation League for her contributions to healthcare, equity, and community impact.
